Complaints
As a therapist I am transparent, and encourage you to share any concerns or complaints that you have.
I will happily provide a thirty minute free meeting to discuss these with you and hope to create a resolution.
Please present any concerns or complaints in writing with clear reasons why.
Therapist Boundaries
I am a qualified therapist and as so I have to observe a professional Code of Ethics.
The BACP Ethical Framework centres on putting the client first, working with integrity, and maintaining professional competence.
It emphasises trust, confidentiality, and clear boundaries.
Practitioners must practise with empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity, while avoiding harm and managing risk responsibly.
The framework requires ongoing supervision, self‑reflection, and continuing professional development. Therapists must communicate clearly, obtain informed consent, and be transparent about fees, methods, and limits of confidentiality.
They are expected to act with accountability, address ethical dilemmas openly, and prioritise client wellbeing above personal or organisational interests.
